I have done research on the metals industry of late. I believe the commercial sector is going to ramp up demand on commodities and manufactured goods getting them there. I hold interest in AA (alcoa), and am looking at businesses in recycled metals to also invest in. Especially with a global footprint. A lot of the blogs I have read seem to be by employees or former employees. Very negative overall.
I do understand how bad morale affects a company, especially in these times, I used to work for one that I quit because I felt they were going in the wrong direction and could no longer be a part of that. I quit, so to speak, to put my money where my mouth was.
My question is this...do I invest in your company or not? If so, tell me why I should. If not, again, just tell me. I prefer not to invest if things are gonna go to hell in a handbag, (my previous employer). Thats why I value the employees input. After I quit I initiated a put option on that company and walked away three mos. later with 3 years worth of income. I will look for follow on blogs for the next two weeks. Thanks ahead for your input.
