Most people are so impatient and focused on what they paid for a stock that they can't ever expect to do better than average. Even if they do they will most likely give up their advantage in comissions and taxes.
I usually don't think too much about what I've paid because it doesn't really make any difference with regard to value. I just like to own shares before they get popular.
I guess investors with GFED must feel pretty confident. This didn't see any sell-off during a big day in the red for the market. Dow down 166 and this saw a slight rise. That's excellent in my opinion.
