Well, lately people are questioning the honesty and integrity of accounting firms and the execs. of major corporations. But, I think the accounts receivable and the inventory of DXT are REAL and TRUE - not faked by insiders. That is my bet on DXT, which has a book value of around $8. Further, in my view, they will sell the Newcastle Div. at greater than book value - because any property and buildings are worth more than they originally paid. So, I think we are going to get a good recovery - not a bankruptcy sale of inventory at 30 cents on the dollar.
Moreover, my view is that although Gino Palo is withholding information, which could reduce the fears of stockholders that maybe he and his associates are attempting to make off with equity somehow, he is NOT ILLEGAL (maybe IMMORAL).
JUST HANG TOUGH and WAIT OUT this period of questionable status. Hope for news that the New Castle refractory division is getting sold to someone or is being bought with a leveraged buyout. I know that if I were a Newcastle member of management, I would strongly consider getting key employees to borrow on their homes and other assets to takeover that div. Especially, if its continued operation would be secure and profitable. [I am sure they know if this would be true.]
My opinion is that this stock is selling at BANKRUPTCY prices, but the published news does not support it! It is worth considerably more! Frankly, I think you can buy $5-$8 bills for $2. If Gino gets a deal on the New Castle Div., you can bet he will be buying - because almost no one is watching!
Not selling! But, not buying more (because of the principle of diversification). So far, this is my worst speculation, but it still has good potential! I am sticking like GLUE!
