    TheStreet downgrades - oh my!

and COH is up over a buck. Their presumptuous upgrades and downgrades are a joke. They got to be embarrassed or maybe they are too dumb to be embarrassed as evidenced by their sell recommendation.

COH goes higher with steady as she goes growth in U.S. and even better growth overseas markets.

    • I do not hold a position in this stock, but am considering it. The biggest issue that I have with COH is their brands are expensive, but are very good quality. The problem is that their handbags and other items are easy to rip-off. I see stores selling knock-off brands. As far as overseas, most people can't afford Coach items, so they buy the knock-off brands to get the appearance/status. In China, they do not respect intellectual property and have no problem ripping off Coach with fakes. Their brand equity is easily eroded.

    • For months, the street had a bashing campain against BRCD...which I own...He/they were saying sell and don't buy in the $5s and $'s now just under $8.

Now their campaign has begun against COH. To me that signals the buying season for this company. It's when they give their nod of approval that it tanks. BTW, they loved BRCD at $10.40.

Someone recently said that the street has a 50% right/wrong ratio with regard to picking winners. does flipping a coin.
