An estimated 340,000 of the 4.3 million babies born in the United States in 2008—including thousands in Texas—were the offspring of illegal immigrants, according to a new analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data by the Pew Hispanic Center.
However, the Dallas Morning News recently reported that 60,000 to 65,000 babies are born each year to the estimated 1.5 million illegal immigrants who live in Texas.
The Pew Hispanic Center analysis finds that nearly 79 percent of the 5.1 million children (younger than 18) of illegal immigrants were born in this country and, therefore, are U.S. citizens. In total, 4 million U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants lived in this country in 2009, alongside 1.1 million foreign-born children of illegal immigrants.
And only 16% of babies born had blue eyes like me, but I'm a racist for bringing that up sorry about that sorry! Actually gray/grey eyed interest me to no end, usually people are easy to read, but they are not, I do think gray eyed are very intelligent http://liweilab.genetics.ac.cn/hpsd/OCA2.htm and some of them clearly know that, get overconfident and are surprised as hell when things don't go their way. Blue eyed are NOT superiorly intelligent, we are like emotional babies who like melodic music and bright colors, just look some of those house re-decorators on TV you can almost guess the brown/black/grey end-result vs. bright colors (I do not watch those shows usually).
what makes you a US citizen? Birthright correct? let's retroactive this issue to the day your first ancestory came to america, that would make you a illegal.
I agree we have a problem with immigration and if you really wanted to look at the facts instead of posting nonesense you would understand that more illegals come through the Canadian Border than the south, and they tend to be more of a problem. Remember it was Reagan who gave over 3M illegals the right to be here. The right had control of the house and senate for over 10 years and NEVER addressed the issue, Now it seems fit to blame Obama! If your really concerned about the issue which I highly doubt, write a letter to the governor of Ariz. and ask why her state which passed a 2007 law dealing with illegals, just thought it was a good idea to forbid courts to supenoa the hiring records of companies before 2007, or Nebraska, why in their upcoming law that the meat packers like Tyson don't have to furnish hiring records. Are you that nieve that you don't understand that corporations love cheap labor? In one sense I would welcome the return of 15M illegals to their home country, then we can hire US citizens at $5 a hr. then the Unions get involved and Organize which would increase all the food cost, that would be pasted on to the consumeer, so instead of $1.50 hamburger, it jumps to $4.00, which means all wages would be increased and we can get back to the salaries I made in `1967 working at McDonnel Douglas Aircraft. I roughly figured adjusted for inflation that would be about $87 ahr.
I don't like the idea of giving citizenship by birth but I think not doing that will create a larger group of 2nd class 'citizens'.
Imagine all the immimgrants coming to the nation and not being able to vote or be represented. Now imagine the geometric growth of those who are not represented. Before long there will be an elite group or voters/citizens and a larger group of unrepresented masses.
We will become a third world nation contaminated with crushing poverty, with that will come even more powerful racism/culteral segrgation, governed by an elite group of whites comprising about 20-10% of the total population. Finally, revolution with the whites getting taken out.
No, the solution is indentured servatude. Make all captured illegals serve something like 20 years in labor committments. Utilize whatever skills they have to serve the US/State governments government with tasks such as cleaning state parks, putting out fires, helping disaters areas, like a national guard. Their kids will be US citizens. The illegals will have green cards, be held accountable, taxed, and finally, giving back to the country they 'stole' from.
