    You're negative on the mkt, yet last night you said you were net long 8%, I believe. Maybe you just trade in and out of the mkt, but your posts dont seem that way. When do you plan on getting short? I agree your comments on TA, but I don't agree on it.

    • opps..meant agree with you on Ta, but I don't ignore it

    • I am net long two stocks I have owned for years and believe in both companies fully: CVS and NOV---I would not be adverse to adding to both here and riding any slide. My positions in both make up net 8% of my portfolio, the remaining is in cash and cash equivalents.

      Listen I am the first to say the market is impossible to anticipate, but economic data is telling me bad things loom. I am rather risk-adverse, so I am not willing to risk investment when the factual truth in front of me is telling me reality is negative.

      I swing and trade mostly. As of the last multiple months, I have not held any stock or option over night other than the two I highlighted above. I didn't buy NOV, I owned Grant Prideco, who NOV bought out.
