Lets say you have a golf tee time with your boss at a course an hour from your house. You get up in the morning and the forecast is bleak with heavy storms coming in about 3 hours. You like to play golf and your boss wants to play, so you make the drive and get ready to tee off about an hour before the storms are due to come in. You start off playing well, but you can't really enjoy the round because you see the clouds swirling above and you know the fun may end at a moments notice.
Yes,there are imminent signs around the course that common sense tells you to take cover. After all, dark clouds in the past portended a big storm. Right? Yet,you see other golfers keep on hitting their shots oblivious to the bad weather. But then the storm goes around you for some odd reason and you are left frustrated wondering why you didn't just keep on playing. Now you start again and you're finding you lost all that time sitting in the shelter while you could have been enjoying your round like the others who kept on playing. Nuts, isn't it?
