Seeking Alpha: US Bank Downgrades Could Come This Week
Seeking Alpha: "Banks brace for downgrades. Moody's could issue its expected downgrades of large banks this week, with the short-term debt of Bank of America (BAC) and Citigroup (C) set to possibly receive cuts from Prime-1 to Prime-2. In anticipation of Moody's action, money-market funds have been limiting some lending to banks, and municipal bond issuers have been switching bankers"
Stop letting bankers raid the registers at the banks and the so called crisis comes to an end. Just look at what US banks paid in bonuses alone for 2011 and you need not wonder why they are always in trouble. Imagine how much is being milked globally. The crisis is one of excessive compensation that simply can't continue if banks are supposed to be solvent and a safe place to deposit money.
