Poe's Tavern on Sullivan's Island is a cool place to grab a couple of beers and a burger. Noisy Oyster downtown is also fun and affordable.

I just looked it up and am going there Friday. The extra thick NY strip looks like a doer. Live music every night too. I like the way they list all their suppliers/farmers. Everything nice and local and fresh.
