Top Round is hardly one of the better cuts. But it's good for stir frys or steak sands with roasted peppers, caramelized onions, mayo, mustard, and cheese of choice.
When I was a kid, chuck steak was actually pretty tasty. The supermarket beef today doesn't taste anything close to what it did back then. And, once in a while, my Mom would cook a Sirloin Tip Roast. Rare, and studded with garlic. It was Fantastic, and better tasting than any Supermarket Prime Rib Roast I've purchased or cooked in the last 25 years. Something is wrong with our food chain...
