    1. You can't bargain with a bully who thinks he has the upper hand. Obama is a bully.

    2. If keeping a promise (whether about not raising taxes or anything else) is brainless fanaticism, count me in.

    PS. Btw, Gerrymandering originatied historically as a tool of the Democrat Party, to give greater power primarliy to blacks.

    • Your last line is funny, considering that the term gerrymander originates from Massachusetts governor Elbridge Gerry, who drew up a redistricting map with oddly-shaped districts in order to favor the Democratic-Republican Party, some 20 years before the Democratic Party was founded and more than half a century before black people had the right to vote.
