    • FED should have asked some advice from National Park Service.
When a lightening hit the Yellow Stone National Park on June 1988, the fire had burnt down 1/3 of the park with more than 4 months fire until the early snow on September that year finally finish the fire.
Hundreds of thousands of lightening had hit that area every year, but aggressive 911 activities left the area so much dry lumbers to burn later.
So, I heard NPS had set up the principle not trying to put out natural fire since then.
And that is the best way to minimize the probable losses.

FED might think they are achieving something, but I guess they might be just postponing to the super critical point, where just a little happening provoke some disastrous results.
