I see it going to 40 before decade end. kibbles will be buying all the way down. stocks are more overvalued today than anytime in history. accounting fraud is the reason for the phantom earnings explosion, every company misses revenue but beats earnings. too funny.

    • Without stating the obvious; there is almost some merit to what you have stated.

I purchase essentials only. And in the few stores/retailers I visit, I see folks doing the same as I.

When folks inspect a product, and put it back on the shelf; believe me, either the price is too high, or they simply don't "need" it. In today's eCONoy, folks make choices where to spend their money. Or not. And in a very big way.

Interestingly enough, fast food eateriers which accept Food Stamps/EBT are probably going to survive the coming downfall in stocks, as may grocery store chains. Not to say that their share prices won't tumble, but they will have the backup of some customers, as may major grocers. Which will be a HUGE difference from The Great Depression; when grocers couldn't make money because folks had none to make purchases.

In that way, this time, it will be different.
