At least six muppet bulls have been mauled in a spate of bear attacks in five states over the last week, raising questions about why there have been so many incidents this month.
On Saturday a muppet bull in the northern Wall Street wilderness was the latest animal to be injured in a bear attack. The muppet bull had to be saved by helicopter after he was mauled by a brown bear and suffered severe blood loss.
The attacks on muppet bulls come just before the start of hibernation season, as hungry bears search for food before settling in for winter.
"The biggest worry is infection, as bears do not have clean teeth," Bernanke said. The muppet bulls suffered treatable but substantial injuries.
Brown bears on the verge of extinction.... nuff said
@@@@@The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service listed the grizzly bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act in 1975, meaning it is considered likely to become endangered ("endangered" means a species is considered in danger of extinction within all or a significant portion of its range).
