That's what I think about the approach being taken concerning Syria.
First of all, it's stupid to get involved.
Second of all, if you're going to do something, don't announce it and give them time to get ready.
If you're going to give a bully a sound beating, you walk directly up to him and #$%$ slug him hard a few times until he gives.
You don't threaten to do something, and then dance around like #$%$ fart.
I agree with your second point. However, I do think something should be done. In this day and age, no leader of a country should be allowed to use chemical weapons against their own people.
Replace "chemical weapons" with "aggression" and I'll agree with you.
