I doubt anyone would argue his base has taken a hit from the existing monitary policy. Be it food and energy inflation that doesn't doesn't exist. Several million part time jobs that can be pealed back when the cost of money goes up or even the growing gap between rich and poor.
Any normal thinking individual would understand a change in course may be needed. Personally, I believe all the politicians are cut from the same crocked cloth. His appointee for the next Fed Chairman will be the true tell. Of course much of his base probably doesn't even know who Ben Bernanke is, let alone his function so he can stick it to them and they won't even know it.
