    Cramer pimping momentum stocks

15 momentum names that are at highs with very stretched valuations but he wants you to buy. You don't suppose his friends at Goldman are looking for suckers to offload these stocks on do you? If these are such great stocks why would anyone even sell you a single share, wouldn't you keep it to yourself? How come there are always shares for sale, they never seem to run out do they?

Now you know we are at a top when Cramer pimps these stocks to the public. No one told you to buy FB when it was $20, they said it was going to $12. Nor did they say to buy TSLA after the fires in their cars, they said TSLA could go back to $50. But now at $217, you should jump right in to TSLA:-). CNBC exists only to get retail suckers to buy in, everyone is uber bullish and they act as if nothing bad can happen. Just wait until that radioactive cloud from Japan hits the US west coast or oil hits $120+ not to mention we have a mid term election this year. Guess what else happens shortly? this bull market turns 5 on March 9th, want to bet they pull the plug? By then we will have the 3rd lousy monthly jobs report confirming that we are slipping in to recession.

So now we have a last ditched effort to pimp the most dangerous, overvalued stocks to the public, every share they can dump is pure profit, you will surely lose at least 50% of your money. Don't walk, please run from this market!

    • Yes but so what. I can make a perfect case for the opposite side. Forget valuations, the market IS the valuation, there is no such thing as over/under valued, that's just anyone's perception. Cramer is entertainment (like this board), I enjoy the show but I don't need his advice or anyone else's. What do you know about radioactive clouds hitting the US ? Do you have a verifiable source to back that ? What does "pull the plug" mean exactly ? Is that where everyone on wall street calls each other the night before and agree to liquidate all their stock holdings in favour of bitcoins ? Basically what you wrote is a rant. So much doom and gloom... of course a pullback will happen whenever it happens but until then and instead of trying to call a market top, why not enjoy just enjoy the ride ? Either way the world will not stop turning.

      Sentiment: Buy

      • And what does "enjoy the ride" mean exactly? Buy overbought stocks? Look at the daily chart of TRIP.....Should you buy that because it keeps making new highs? The stupidest thing I've read lately is the media telling us that traders are buying stocks because they "fear missing the next leg up." So what? Fear? I would fear losing it all in a geopolitical event....Did anyone ever hear of taking a break, and waiting for stocks to come to you, instead of chasing them like a gambler?
