Glad you're hankering for Jack in the Box in
Georgia, but your comment regarding BK personnel was
awful. Mama grew up in Buckhead, and long ago outgrew
what I infer from your post. A discredit to the South,
sir, you need better manners in addition to better
burgers. Respectfully, Geo.
The last to messages was exactly what was on my
mind, I don't go to Msg's very often, but was wondering
myself about why is this stock drifting. If jbx is
consistent with it's recent record on earnings, it's price
should at least get back to it's high, around 29. That
would be around a $7 gain on a $21 stock, a pretty good
gain in anyone's portfolio. Guess we have to wait and
I have spoken with the company
twice recently. They do not know why the stock is
behaving this way, particularly after good meetings with
analysts in New York recently. The company is in quiet
period because of next week's earnings announcement. It
is discouraging to see the chart having broken the
previous low for the year, and there is definitely some
institutional block selling going on. But I believe JBX
continues to execute and I'm continuing to accumulate
Any comments on continued weakness in the stock?
Seasonally and historically I'd be expecting earnings to
please the street. Without any news, insider activity or
?, what explains today's softness (euphemism) on
relatively high volume? Thanks, ~Geo.
Try insidertrader.com. They all derive reports
from the same SEC mandated filings, it may just be
that they are posted more promptly than here at Yahoo.
More depth and searchability on the insider angle.

What do you have working in BK? Movie Stars? I
personally do not like people who are greasy in appearance
to handle my food. So you, Sir, are a product of
California- A NUT! enjoy your greasy burger handled by the
10w40 perfume wearer.
Personal grooming of line-staff is a controllable
issue. Your message #1110 seems to backpedal from the
racist comment of #1105. If you want to trade insults
(oooh! I'm a California nut, that's a good one!) have it
your way, I won't play. Just want this board to be a
clean, well lit place to discuss investing in Jack in
Finding, training and motivating
counter help is one of the big challenges in this
business, and here in California (as I suspect Nashville
and perhaps your community?) it's a tight labor
market. Many young people get their first work experience
in the fast food industry, and I'll give them the
benefit of the doubt. I'm also an assertive customer (as
opposed to "voting with my feet") and if inappropriate
perfume on a counter person was offensive, I'd probably
discretely mention it to the manager.
When you pay it, you get it. Get it?
