Skinny Water at Costco in Brick, NJ

I was shopping at the Costco in Brick,NJ this weekend and saw a Skinny Water Roadshow. There were 3 Skinny Water employees giving out samples from a large display. A case of 12 bottles were selling for $9.99, mix and match the 6 or so flavors they had on pallets. I talked to one of the employees and he said they had done Roadshows in about 10 Costco's in the Northeast in the past months. It would be great to see Skinny in a national account.

    • I guess you mean you know why anyone owning the stock would post - they want others to buy it and raise the price.

      - The fundamentals of stock is to raise money. And if you own a stock, you want to raise value of your stock by whether 1)you become customer, 2) advertise the business yourself, 3) pump on boards like this. What do yo think this is, Debating public Court room TV show ran by Judge Judy?

If it's any consolation, they said the same thing on the DKAM board about me and the SKNN board. DKAM is at 2.5 cents, down from $3 a few years ago and SKNN is in bankruptcy.

      - Could be true, could be false. But i have no interested in looking that up. If you are right on that one, good job. Nobody here cares.

I'm sorry if you bought a stock based on anonymous MB posters telling you it was "going to the moon", but that's just not very smart.

      - sometimes people learn it the hard way. It's their money and their life, not yours. Unless you claim yourself to be the Superman of the stock world, I think you should not post here. If you have time and energy to post here, go check up on your family. Go do some nice stuff for yourself with all the money you made already. Don't like hearing negative stuff from other people? think again.

You can blame the "ex employees","offshore naked shorting hedge funds", "market makers" or aliens if you like. I've heard it all before. You've got to do more due diligence than reading some pumpers on a message board dude. Sorry, there just is no easy way to make money, despite what the "gurus" here tell you.

      - Kez, do us a favor and stop posting here. You will see pumpers in these boards as well as the bad news about the companies. At the end, they make the decision, not you. Posts that you make here are 1) bashing because i (kez) need attention, 2) you want to feel superior by saying some smart things not backed up by facts or infos 3) make other people feel lower so you feel like you are at higher position.

I have a friend that i have known for a long time. He likes to be and feel superior by saying a lot of nonsense and grabbing attention randomly that is not in his business. I tell him, he would be a one heck of a whore if he was a woman.

      Good luck.

    • I'm curious,
Why would someone post on a board of a stock they did not own?
There are thousands of stocks that people do not own.
      Why post on this one??
      My take is, either:
      This man needs a hobby,
      or
He is a disgruntled ex employee who has a axe to grind.
      Go figure.

Anyway, I love the move overseas.
South America would be a great fit, as they seem to be very weight conscious.
Can't wait for the earnings report.

    • You forgot to to say 'Too Funny'

    • You must be a newbie to the Yahoo boards because you misread whose post my post was directed toward (you can see it by viewing the entire thread). It was gcatamino's, not yours.
As for the rest of your post:
      a) I don't own the stock.
      b) Balance sheets and income statements are important for all stocks. Pennies may run up on speculation, but speculation can't carry a stock very far or very long and unless you're in pre-run, you're likely to lose
      c) Pennies don't have to be scams to become large losses for investors. Most don't have the funds necessary to get beyond the startup stage, even if they have products.
      d) If you're going to take comments made on an anonymous MB so personally that you cry over them, you should probably not attack other posters.

    • I am so devastated by your response I could CRY…. First of all I may be a NEWBIE to posting to a board, but I am not new to penny stocks and the BS that goes on in the message boards. Been in with SKNY since 12/07, bought at .07 to .10, sold at .30, 5 months later. Bought back at .10 and holding. Kezzek talks like he is a financial Guru, he must have quite an extensive portfolio, and however, he is active on the boards of Celsius Holding Inc. $.40/sh stock, SKNY $.10/sh stock, Dricks American Holdings $.04/sh stock, and lastly the biggy, ENER1, Inc $5.51/sh stock. In 5/09 you appeared with posts for Skinny Water on Investors Hub (a dead board) then on Yahoo. Is that when you bought into Skny at .12-.14. If so, you are at a LOSS right now. Seems with all your expertise, you would be active at least on small cap NASDQ Boards. All penny stocks are a gamble and very volatile. It doesn’t matter what there balance sheet shows (that’s for the big stocks), it’s playing the swings of up and downs, and then hoping for a permanent score in the long run. One thing about SKNY as a penny stock is that it is not a SHELL, or a SCAM or a PUMP and DUMP. It is a real company with a real product that is trying to make a dent in the water industry. I see them swimming not sinking

    • 1. Too funny. If I had 10 shares, I would be a long not a short.
      2. You're clearly a newbie.
      3. I'm glad you didn't listen to me, otherwise you'd be up a few grand.
      4. Speaking of substance, you should learn to read an income statement and balance sheet, then you wouldn't have to rely on others to tell you "this is a great stock to buy - trust me, I'm only telling you this for YOUR own good".
      5. Not going anywhere.
      6. Don't be a hog, you can see you're already getting slaughtered.

    • Distribution, distribution, distribution.

Oops, am I pumping? Am I attempting to convince others to buy?
