I find it amusing that the recent minor selloff in GIS from its all-time high stock price was triggered by GIS raising its FY 2010 guidance to $4.57-$4.59/share. Which was short of the consensus $4.60 number by the analyst community.
Now the analysts consensus is $4.61/share. So while some people were busy taking their short term profits because of the projected so-called "miss" on the year, now that estimate has been raised again by the analysts.
Funny stuff. Enjoy the dividends and look for GIS over $80 within the year.
