HELP!!! What am I not seeing!!

In 2 months PPC has dropped from $7.53 down to $5.67...and has a P/E of 6.5...What am I not seeing? Is there major labor issues coming down the pike? Goverment crackdowns?? I read about their issues with China and Russia...Is there anything I'm not seeing? Even if their earnings come in alittle low, isn't this a screaming buy? What else is out there for the value investor... Thanks, Cabin

    • corn Prices maybe? gotta feed them chickens and corn prices are waaay up.

If you take a longer term approach feed prices shouldn't matter. Chicken will jsut cost more, but still less than beef.

    • corn is high. corn is high. corn is high. And corn is high. Did ppc hedge? What percentage of ppc contracts are cost plus a percentage? Corn is high. Will JBS do reverse merger? Why is mr. pilgrim scheduling stock sales? Is it good news or is he unloading? This is a long hold. Any human on margin with the stock is as smart as the product that ppc sells. As an investor, I'm waiting for this company to become an average chicken company. Now I'm waiting for this company to become an average chicken company in a reasonably priced corn world. Will obummer extend the etoh subsidies. I say yes because he is from the midwest and people with money he will listen to. We could get more etoh from brezil from sugar cane for 25% lest than we pay now. Just my thoughts from an investor with a ton of this stock. Long term hold.
