A company that has just gone cash flow negative, again, and who has been preaching their need to preserve cash by focussing only on their own late stage candidates, is going to blow their balance sheet on another cash flow negative company. Well, mental illness is rampant at Vertex.

hell, vrtx mgt said gild's drug was awesome and pushed vrtx stock down 10%. I think mgt at vrtx is short their stock or they are just dopes.

geez, it's a PhII drug. it can fail easily in this and the next trial. way too early to get excited on a PhIIa or b drug.
