All these emotional posts about not wanting kids to die etc -- have NOTHING to do with whether or not the FDA gives approval or not. There are plenty of times in biotech when posters are convinced that a drug will be approved -- and they are shocked when they are proven wrong. Look at what just happened to CLSN -- post after post about how Thermodox was a slam-dunk, and it cratered. Now, I happen to think that SRPT has a far better chance than CLSN -- but the key point is: keep your cool. Investors who don't are good investors.
CLSN failed because it's results from the trial were beyond horribile. There were a lot of people that believed the data would be terrible. SRPT has fantastic data. It was just the opposit of what CLSN reported (or didn't report because it was so bad) so you really can't make the comparison
sir SRPT IS A ORPHAN DRUG FDA FAST TRACKED. clsn is not. This effects children who only hope to live is accelerated approval. nothing like CLSN and it is all about the kids. what if your child had DMD???
