Reminder about DMD Families and their FDA Feb meeting
From the Jett foundations web site:
A statement released by the parent group post the FDA meeting was quite encouraging. “Our conversation with the FDA leaves us positive and optimistic. These high ranking FDA officials were extremely supportive, engaging, and receptive to our ideas about accelerated approval. It was our collective impression that the FDA seemed committed to working as expeditiously as possible to grant access to life saving treatments to those who will benefit.
I started out as an AVII investor years ago with their flu program but the story of Jenn McNary and her kids along with the other DMD families is much more fascinating than any $ I might make. I don’t see how any human being on the FDA or elsewhere can look at Jenns two kids and not approve the drug asap. The only holdup I can see is whether Sareptas manufacturing program is ready and that is a key consideration for AA. Go Jenn! Go Max!
