Fortunately it will be extremely easy to rip apart and address all of the "negative arguments." it's actually one of the sillier ones i've seen bashing srpt so i wouldn't worry about it. The stock price is up, especially in the after hours, so shorts must do something and as always, a negative article is released
Is it Seeking Alpha or Seeking Alphie? He doesn't disclose his school. He saved them the embarrassment. I get the impression that Seeking Alpha is going out of business. It won't be long now.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
The Alpha article seems "bullish" to me. It compares GSK's Tx. Vs. eterplirsen's and it is very clear to the author and all of us that eterplirsen is much safer and more effective. Tried to post link
Ha, that's funny RU. Balanced? You mean like when he states
" Given the available data, it is difficult to judge whether eteplirsen has any advantage at all."
In his balanced approach, he must have inadvertently omitted :
- zero toxicity for Etep vs very significant toxicity including hospitalizations for Drisapersen
- ETEPLIRSEN statistically significant results in BOTH 6 mwt and dystrophin production. Drisaspersen was not.
So, he and you may have difficulty judging whether or not ETEPLIRSEN has an advantage over ETEPLIRSEN , but gosh, I don't. I'm gonna go with ZERO toxicity, cuz I say kidneys that aren't rotten is an ADVANTAGE. And, I'm also thinking statistically significant is an all measures is an advantage vs some of them.
- and my personal favorite , the fact that Max can RUN, while omitted from his piece, is not only an "advantage", its gonna be, game, set, and match for SRPT/Eteplirsen.
Hey! This SA article is by Cory Renauer, A professional blogger with a bSc, not to mention the fact that he is currently sitting his level 1 CFA exam. I'm going to sell my whole position at opening bell tomorrow.
