I've always thought of the FDA's presence at 120-week walk tests as a "confirmatory" thing i.e., focused on proving the lack of bias in all testing previously performed. And now I have done a 180, and believe their presence established a de facto baseline for the 144- week tests, which the FDA may also plan to attend. If the 144 week data are stable or (dare we whisper this?) UP, and the 4th biopsy is good for ALL boys (twins included), Marge will crawl into bed that night with a simple message for her hedge hubby: "Time to go long, babe."
That, or Hoffman will try to convince them that the 6 mwt was flawed from the beginning ( cuz he didn't get rich when it was used) and the FDA should simply rewrite the rules to the game AGAIN, so that the spectacular SRPT data can be thrown out until a company they like better succeeds. I can hear Dr Hoffman now: "the 6 mwt is rife with innaccuracies. What we need would be a hop, skip, and a jump test, which my new company speciializes in administering, at great cost. This test is far superior, and we don't want to risk giving these desperate kids something that works before we understand it completely. And.....I'm rich"
Good 144 data should = AA lock IMHO, unless Hamburg wants to change the rules to the game yet again.
