    About the 2009 Canadian approval

    On their(BMTI) website, it states:

    >In November 2009, BioMimetic received approval from Health Canada to begin marketing Augment as an alternative to the use of autograft in foot and ankle fusion indications in Canada.

If there were really some of the safety issues, it should have already been known.

Otherwise, after all, this is a small company, some data collection issues can be done after the drug has been approved.

Also this is for arms, legs, and bones, ( not for heart, blood, etc.) there should be a little safety issue in a common sense.

Efficacy should be the key, and their data seems good.
