I refuse to join Costco. I will not pay a membership fee to shop at any retail establishment. How long would our local grocery store stay in business if they charged their customers money to enter and shop? This is such a goofy system. I remember Gemco tried this system in the 60s here in southern California and went out of business. Also FedCo tried it; they are gone. Bottom line: I refuse to join Costco due to membership fee.
a lot of people pay for their membership in just a few months of gas savings, it's a no-brainer. plus they have the best return policy of any store I know of. also, employees are treated great and paid well.
you stick to your guns and refuse to save money to show them. heck, my mebership fees are made up from just buying gas at costco before I even factor in any savings inside the store. But good to see that on principles alone you refuse to save money.
