VLO will resume its rally when market turns

Aleatory 70-80 % off its high would explain its big drop however the picture has changed the moment VLO turned a profit this qtr.

Priced for a double dip thats not going to happen since the GOP will be in OFFICE

    • WWE3...

From the illogical tone of your posts lately,I respectfully recommend you sell your VLO stock and move on to invest in a business you understand.

Valero is never going back to $70 share in my lifetime.....Valero may get back to $29 if they magically become a reliable operator of their assets on a consistent basis.

There are way to many reasons to support this statement to discuss here now....but just start with this fact...VLO's profits were powered by the heavy sour crude discount....that discount will never come back to those golden years levels again....not unless you are betting on the South American crude producers to wake up to the fact that their production is declining every year . I am not betting on Hugo .

    • It's done deal now as everyone knows we are back
in recession. See the spread , It is back to 6.90$.

No gain in labor market, people still losing jobs. Companies are not hiring. Jobs going to India and China.

Lots of foreclosures. Still wave of bank failures are yet to come. Demorcrats are going to loose mid term election. Change is not coming.
