OT Devon Yard in Limestone Co. Texas

I was talking to a friend who works out of the Groesbeck yard and he said that it would take $7+ NG to save his yard. The problem was in the EPA regulations in his opinion. Marginal wells will be a thing of the past and dry gas is a waste of time. The part that caught me was the new EPA regs. What are they doing to the NG industry now that they did not do a year or two ago? I did not have a lot of time to talk and when I do I will ask him specific questions about the Groesbeck yard, but I was hoping some of you might know?

    • Economics presently is driving the oil patch. EPA has not issued new regulations; strictly conjecture at this time. Missing the uproar if or when the EPA issues new regulations will be impossible unless you live in a monastery or on a desert isle.
