like it or not ethanols better than gas

Why is it Brazil uses much higher concentrations of ethanol with no problems? Toyota's, Ford's, Chevy's, all the same cars we have are fine.

Gasoline takes like 70 gallons of water to make 1 gallon.
Ethanol uses 2 to make a gallon. And if you want to include rainfall, then calculate how mach rain it took until the fossils turned into crude oil.

Ethanol is creating massive amounts of feed for livestock. Whole kernals of corn are hard on digestive tracks. The ddgs left after the starch is used are a lower fat high protein feed that's easier for animals to digest.

Higher ethanol blends get better MPG's. It's the cheap subgrade (84) octane gasoline that won't even run in engines without ethanol blended into it, that's partly to blame.

And while gasoline production creates zero food, ethanol plants are growing algae for the feed markets as well as selling ddgs, a better feed than corn.

The car companies are telling the ethanol companies that the new standard of 54 mpg's by 2025 is only possible with high octane fuels like ethanol.

Newer, smaller, high compression engines that are designed to run on ethanol, instead of just tolerate it like flex-fuels, need the high octane of ethanol. These new engines will get better mpg's than gasoline thanks to the 113 octane of ethanol.
