    Iv'e got some greek, spanish, and italian bonds to sell ya. And i'll throw in a gimme with some french bread, cheese and wine to wash it down with. Offers Please! I need to sell these asap. Iv'e made an offer to Ben B. and he is considering a bond swap deal with me, but he hates cheese.

    • the precedent has been set. if the ECB owns those bonds, dont buy. they'll subordinate your bonds and force those investors to take ridiculously large losses, while making themselves whole.

        Delta, you are correct.
        Same ECB game plan as Greece, and it worked. No market crash.

        You will see some scary headlines, a few big down days......The ECB will print like crazy, and bondholders will take a haircut. The government is in control. CroneyCapitalism at its best.

        This we agree.
        We disagree on the timing of when the party ends.

        Fundamentals dont work in croney-capitalism. Massive government intervention over-rides technicals and fundamentals, until the weight of the debt is too great.

        The future will be interesting.

        Many bears will be slaughtered before this is all over. In the end, the bulls will be gored. Only a few will profit.
