Disclosure: I recently opened a small postion on this stock.
While insider sales are never a bullish sign, they are often given too much significance on the bearish side as well. Insiders getting up in years and with most of their wealth tied up in one asset often make regularly scheduled sales for tax and estate purposes. I too have just taken a new and small position in this stock. Their dominant position in the title industry will, when and if the real estate market ever comes back, put them in a very favorable and profitable position. Meanwhile, you get paid a good dividend that looks secure, while you wait. However, it may be a loooooooooooooooooong wait. This one will require patience. The lawsuit potential is a minor irritant. They rarely make a material impact on the stock price of a large company.
