A director at Toll Brothers Inc. has unloaded 648,739 shares of the homebuilder’s stock for about $17 million.
Bruce E. Toll, who also serves as chairman of Philadelphia Media Holdings, which owns the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News, sold the shares Monday, according to Securities and Exchange Commission documents.Other executives of the Horsham, Pa., luxury builder also made stock moves Monday that were part of pre-arranged selling plans, including CEO Robert Toll, who exercised 1.39 million options. Toll stock has had a 52-week range of $15.49 and $27.19 a share. Shares were trading up 1 percent Thursday at $24.91.
