The keystone pipeline will not only create thousands of jobs to build it, But millions more jobs
by companies that can use the cheap energy. Didnt the president run on a campaign of job creation ? How can he sit there, and read a teleprompter that says he is trying to create jobs, and doesnt want a new supply of cheap energy. Anyone who graduated high school knows that manufacturing jobs require energy. I know there are many people against it. Greenies (people who want us to herd sheep), train companies (they'd lose their new source of revenue, now that hauling coal has slowed down), maybe china (since they would be losing these new manufacturing jobs created here), probably some middle east countries (did you know saudi arabia has technically been bankrupt for 20 years), banks that lend middle east countries based on their oil production, and people who own other pipelines. Take Jim Crane for example. Here is a guy who owns his own pieline, is a personal friend of obama, and a campaign donor. Jim Crane was at the anti keystone pipeline rally in DC a few weeks ago. If you want the u.s. to be the land of opportunity again, you have to have a low cost source of energy.
