Will AER Ever Recover? 4/26/2010 AER Was At $13.80
I'm just wondering if management gives a rats #$%$ about the current shareholders? Just getting a bit frustrated waiting some kind of growth. AER has a healthy bottom line! Why not share some of those earnings in the form of a dividend? There's no better way to bring fund managers and institutional investors back in to the stock then to offer some form of incentive.
In mid-August, 2012, co. purchased 10M shares held by Cerebrus Capital at $12/share. This was in addition to the existing $200M repurchase program. This action was consistent with the Board's May announcement to explore share repurchase, sale of aircraft and a sale or merger of the co. So as a long I'm content to maintain my position in AER.
