The IEA stated today that the US will become the worlds largest oil producer by 2017... I'm trying to get my head around that one and figure out the implications to us as gold investors.
First, energy gets cheaper and since mining is ultra energy intensive that is a great thing for lowering mining costs.
Second on my list of things to ponder is what it does to reduce dollar flows offshore.... Hmmmm... Big topic...
Third is where I see opportunity... Turning natural gas to a liquid fuel for our huge existing fleet of gas burning cars... Anyone know of any companies that can provide this alchemy?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Today they are saying that we will have energy independence by 2017...
(CLNE) Clean Energy is building a network of NG filling stations.
They received a $200 million line of credit today on top of the $150 million they received earlier...
This allows them to build out their NG stations on routes that run north south and east west via the Flying J network of truck stops.
Lot's of contracts with Waste Management and UPS for local NG fueling depots for local fleets.
I'm continuing to look for someone that turns natural gas into gasoline. They will make billions!
