    • Hey Corey, what does this mean? I had a hard time figuring out what the pr had to do with us? Thanks if you can answer it. Your link just took me to HP's info page.

        OPtionstrader,

I don't see a compelling reason to think that what happens with Seadrill is relevant to Helmerich & Payne, even though the article that Cory linked to (buried within the headlines section of the web0-site he linked us to) mentions that Seadrill will now likely look for another merger partner since it lost its potential deal with Pride International.

Even Yahoo! deemed this story somehow realted to HP, as they linked it to HP News as well. See March 18 links.

I really think that this is more about Cory spamming us to the 'wallstreetwidow' site than it is about HP. Given that HP is primarily a land driller, and is doing fine on its own, I don't think it is going to be a serious acquisition target of Seadrill, nor Seadrill an acquisition target of HP, as the lost target of Seadrill's merger, Pride, is exclusively an offshore driller.

Again, Cory want's us to go to the wallstreetwidow site, and will use any excuse to link it to us while attempting to make his/her post NOT look like spam. However, I've seen this enough times (compelling post headline - link to a cheap investment site and no real connection to HP) to be able to recognize spam when I see it.
