Lets get back on topic here. NBA Live was a crappy turd and first impressions of NFS Carbon smell like piss. What is going on?
Why aren't these games fun. Do you think its a QA problem, producers, management, or what? With your "obvious" impressive knowledge of the inner workings of the industry and personal portfolio of top rated games maybe you could shed some light on what you think it might be. Do tell.
>jester posting that a EA demo is out and the user reaction to it is much more interesting than hearing about light switches in your basement.<<
Fair enough. Put me on Ignore. Works for me either way.
>>How do you know jester's experience?<<
Based on his incomplete reliance on incomplete and anecdotal feedback to prompt up a premeditated conclusion, "obvious" is an understatement.
>>I have been arguing with him for about 5 years and if I had to pick between you two he appears much more knowledgable about this industry. <<
Talk about "obvious."
Trust me, I'm not here to win you over in any way, shape, or form. Do as you wish.
So you care but you don't want anyone else to care? Thats very confusing and its not fun for me continually hearing about your superior ego to prove your point.
Whatever the impact is... jester posting that a EA demo is out and the user reaction to it is much more interesting than hearing about light switches in your basement.
How do you know jester's experience? I have been arguing with him for about 5 years and if I had to pick between you two he appears much more knowledgable about this industry. In reality you might be but you don't communicate it well.
>>So you don't care about review scores, reviewers, hardcore gamers, trading, game quality...<<
Not at all. I do care, and take a great deal of pride in having worked on some exceptionally high-quality/high-rated games. Unfortunately, some of those games sold only a fraction of much lower-rated competitors. This story repeats itself over and over in this industry.
Once again: Fanboys, rant-sites, and reviews don't move stocks or significantly impact sales.
>>Wow you got a long list going there just to prove your points and I predict you will need to add many more to win debates with jester.<<
In case you weren't paying attention, Jester just got his ass handed back to him. Until he puts in over two decades' worth of experience in this industry, his opinions are filed under outsider kvetching, not qualified commentary.
"So you don't care about review scores, reviewers, hardcore gamers, trading, game quality..."
That's why he was so confident the last time it was mid-50's that "we'll never see 40's again loser/fool/bearshitter/idiot"... and then it went to $40.
Did you check out Carbon yourself?
