For those who have been following ERTS for awhile, you may remember his cryptic comment this time last year about a "rumor" he heard that ERTS was going to miss its Q. The stock dropped 10% over a couple of days immediately afterwards, only to shoot up when ERTS handily beat expectations.
In yesterday's radio show, he once again pulls out this mysterious hunch, in spite of the fact that ERTS has dominated the sales charts and ignoring the virtually unprecedented positive forward-looking comments from LP.
Cramer made me $14,000 in a week last time. Now, as I'm watching the float steadily creep up this morning, I'm looking forward to even more this time.
Thanks, Jim! You may be an idiot, but you're MY kind of idiot! :)
>>There is no way ERTS misses this quarter.<<
I just don't understand how you can say that when Cramer has gone on record saying ERTS will miss. I'm following his lead and going short, and you should, too.
There is no way ERTS misses this quarter. The PSP will see to that! I am a little concerned about expenses; I noticed worldwide employee count has doubled from 4 years ago. That is a good thing (hell, that's a GREAT thing) but I don't think we'll be cashing in their skills until next Xmas and beyond.
>>Its ok to be wrong Austin and admit it.<<
Yep, I freely admit I was wrong to go long. I stopped out my long positions have now gone all-in on a short. There's no way Cramer is wrong on this one.
The fact that they moved product is not in dispute.
The problem appears to be that they had to discount wholesale prices to get it done. They may have distroyed the bottom line with the discounting.
If they did $ 40's will be here faster than most expect.
>>...soryy bammer, but I'm with Austin on this one....<<
If so, you'd be shorting like crazy. Those NPD charts are all just made-up numbers, anyway. What with all the spyware and such. ERTS is guaranteed to miss the Q. It's obvious. Cramer said so. I'm shorting, for sure.
