Recap of Reasons to like EA for new board readers, ENJOY:
Why do you keep showing that you predict things after "trying" (and failing) to show that you do not?? It makes no sense, but it's funny all the same. Here's what you said: "Here is a couple more although what good they do you I have no idea. AAPL, AIG, CAT, HON, HPQ, IBM, INTC, MCD, MMM long... BBI, GM, GOOG, JNJ, NEM, PG, SBUX, WMT short."
--> Its nice to see a posting of stocks from you but you should have said this: Here (are) a couple more although what good they do you I have no idea. AAPL, AIG, CAT, HON, HPQ, IBM, INTC, MCD, MMM, BBI, GM, GOOG, JNJ, NEM, PG, SBUX, WMT."
Do you see the difference? Compare the two; I'll come back to it later.
You said: I'm not fighting against or with you in the battle of erts bulls and bears
--> Its funny how you claim to be neutral and unconcerned but I haven't seen you dispute many, if any, Bearish Posts...
You said: "If erts is such a sure thing gem why don't you just keep it to yourself and go play golf or something."
--> The answer is that this is a message board and message boards have people with opinions. That means people come here and post reasons they like/dislike a given stock. Some people ask for reasons to buy/sell a stock. With you having (purportedly) no opinion, you must have accidentally stumbled upon it because it really makes no sense to even post on the board if you have no opinion. With no opinion, no concern as to price movement, and no prediction/research capability you seem out of place on a message board. If anyone should be able to put a trade on and go play golf or something it should be you, no?? The rest of the answer is that Im just a nice guy [(:-)] that likes to help people get the other side of the story when the Bears come out in force. People can take it or leave it (just like all the other posts).
Ok, back to the stock posts. If you have no opinion, no concern as to price movement, and no prediction/research capability, you should NOT be concerned NOR categorize your holdings as long/short because you have no idea, and want to believe that you dont try to predict, which ones are going up (long) or down (short) if youre just letting the market do its own thing..Ooops By this point I wouldnt be surprised if you dont understand why theres a stark contradiction between the statements youve heretofore pontificated about and your use of long/short in this circumstance but I have no desire to re-explain the flaws in your reasoning (if it can be called reasoning). Ill just leave it at that and let you continue to predict that some of your stocks are going higher and some of them are going lower while you consider yourself to be long/short them respectfully.
Good Investing (improved by good predictions based on fundamental research) to all!!!
