roflmao! Im just checking gamerankings.com and npd number dude. like I said wgaf about ratings though. MC hasnt moved units eh?
TTWO has exactly one AAA franchise period, and EA or anyone else would have to be stupid to buy at the peak ahead of GTA4 release when they can buy at half price a year from now. Yea yea the pump-and-dump-chumps who bout ttwo at 26 will be screaming like crazy ont he boards but look at how many times rockstar has tried to come up with new games that didnt move the units. anyone remember Bully, or red dead, or table tennis?? lol!!!
one trick pony! come on say it with me!
Midnight Club LA preview:
Midnight Club III review:
"Midnight Club 3 races circles around Need for Speed"
Your stupidity knows no bounds and you certainly don't know the facts. Midnight Club has trounced Need For Speed in the ratings. Go to metacritic and educate yourself. NFS ProStreet '07 scored between 61 and 73 while NFS Carbon scored 74 - 77 depending on the console. MC scored 84 - 87 and the next version coming in Oct looks like it will rate above 90. Also, EA's Nascar '08 rated 56 - 59! These are truly pathetic ratings and this is a major problem that EA's CEO has spoken about. This is why EA wants to buy TTWO; TTWO's studios and IP are of a much higher caliber than what EA has.
While you're educating yourself you might want to get an accredited high school diploma.
Not only did EA miss the boat, but they'll continue to stay in the mudd. See any chart for the last 2-5 yrs.
Here's the 2 yr.
The hype on the game will be huge with the installed base of the 360 and probably a PS3 release will be gigantic.
Midnight club is a big seller.
NBA2K8 has destroyed NBA Live.
ERTS would be able to have a stranglehold on the sports game market and increase margins. You really don't understand what you are talking about.
TTWO will be a $40 stock in the near future. EA definitely missed the boat.
are you talking about proStreet? carbon? there are 3 releases of mc and about 15 of nfs. depending on what you are talking about the npd sell-through difference release to release is not that big. Obviously if you are comparing franchise totals 15 releases is gonna win. Or maybe you're talking about sell-in?
ps if gta is good, so should mc. remember those r*sd guys made the engine:
The game will be set in the city of Los Angeles, again providing the option to completely free-roam (on roadways quite larger than all the cities combined from Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition). New additions are a day-to-night cycle and weather effects, adding a realisitic aspect to the game. After races, if any damage is inflicted upon the vehicle, the player doesn't necessarily have to drive back to the garage for a full repair, but instead can choose the Quick Fix option through which old, junkyard-esque parts will be added to the car. To get the nice look back, the player must actually drive back to repair their vehicle at a garage so actually totaling the vehicle at all is not possible anymore. The Los Angeles map is considered one of the most detailed and accurate versions of L.A. yet. With the RAGE system being used for this game, as with Grand Theft Auto IV. Traffic level will fluctuate throughout the day, with heavy traffic in the morning and afternoon, and little to none at night. Motorcycles make a return in this version, though no specific names have been mentioned (a Kawasaki ZX-14R was seen in a promotional screenshot). Convertibles, customizable interiors and customizable exotics are new additions.
Developers placed great emphasis on the elimination of load screens, stating that the player can literally jump from career mode to an arcade race in under ten seconds. The new dynamic weather system have been reported to alter the gameplay experience, making the vehicle more prone to lose traction in the rain It has also been mentioned in several sources that each car will have a polygon count of roughly 100,000.
lolz your list has one decent seller in there in Bioshock, and it didnt really light up the sales charts. every other rockstar game outside of GTA has been a flop at retail or an embarassment to the industry.
paying one cent more that 20 for TTWO is idiotic.
