there are fundamental problems at EA that investors are realizing. if you look at their deck from the last investor presentation, they lost about 70 million in catalog sales from Q32011 to Q32012. that loss in catalog sales is offsetting growth in digital channels and creating a drag on the stock.
glad I got out. the technical charts on the stock are also broken and the management has been selling shares.
unfortunately, the hype of EA's digital gaming will continue to be bogged-down by problems with the console gaming market.
putting peter moore in charge will not change the fundamental problems at ea. the company needs new leadership, and a new strategy. the company has some valuable assets, but no catalysts for short term gains. hence, it just keeps dropping down.
