with this joker of a ceo gone, ea can now concentrate on making games for the people and make games work properly. the direction that the ceo aka "moron" was taking the company was the wrong path. he knew he screwed up with the simcity fiasco. his only success if any was games/apps on tablets and phones. i'm sure many of you folks are happy he's no longer ceo. this ceo should have been canned a long time ago, but ea's bod are sheeps.
The captain is always the first to jump out of the ship before it sinks. I think CEO's departure was no different than that.
The company is in a very bad shape financially compared to the time he joined. EA burned a lot of cash, and they have debts on the top of that. This damage can not be fixed easily. Ironically, they are burning more cash to buy shares.
