Arash,Drac: can you plse give your 2cents on ERTS. You guys keep talking about waves, etc, which is fine. But this is ERTS site and would appreciate some input into the near term fate of this stock. You are all well thought of, but plse, keep these waves business to your personal email sites and not a particular stock site. You kind of dis-encourage people talking constructively about why we are on this site.
Thanks in advance.
I have interest in erts as much as you do.
You are probably long a few shares and I
am short a few shares. If I have something to say
about erts or the market I post it.
I think it's a peice of shit, and it's manipulated.
If I have to claim ownership then I will, whatever it takes to restore it to an ERTS board. There are thousands of boards that you can go to if you want to talk about other companies, EA is going into a huge 2-3 years STARTING NOW, and this board is the only EA board that I know of that Yahoo provides for us to talk about EA.
It wouldn't matter if there's a rule, Yahoo wouldn't do anything about it anyway, it's not good enough to put OT in the subject because it has no business on this board, God you people are dense. Take it to the company message board you want to talk about, take it anywhere but here!
There is no rule that says that you're not allowed to post messages related to the company directly.
But in order to make ertsinvestor and others happy, use:
OT (OFF TOPIC) in the title, so they don't waste their precious time reading it!
Financials below. NO net income. Year over year revenue DECREASING. Nice excuses for a failing company...do you believe them?
Insiders own 32% of stock (not bad), but I would NOT want to hold this stock through earnings tomorrow....especially with possibly not stellar future guidance. (IMHO) BTW, insiders are selling this stock in the $50's and $60's and any chance they can get. Looks like Cisco before it fell from grace at $70 now under $20 except they were supposedly making money then.
ERTS financials from Yahoo:
For the fiscal year ended 3/31/01, revenues decreased 7% to $1.32 billion. Net loss totaled $11.1 million, vs. an income of $116.8 million. Revenues reflect a decrease in sales due to fewer title releases and the effect of the console transition in the Playstation and Nintendo 64 markets. Net loss also reflects an increase in the number of online projects in development.
