    • "Explorationist" Pasquale V. Scaturro was on the BOD of Hyperdynamics and is now running "Hydrocarb" which is heavily involved with Duma Energy.

Although Scaturro claims to be a "geologist" and "geophysicist" I can find no evidence of a degree.

      • Interesting that you find this information. Scaturro is the same person who was on the BOD of HDY.
He was one of the three co-founders of Tri-Con Geophysics, a seismic processing company based in Denver. I know that he was once with Amoco and worked with their seismic acquisition crews and was in charge of these crews out of their (Amoco) Denver office before moving on to start-up Tri-Con Geophysics with two others (geophysicists) and then this group went their separate ways. Pasquale later went on to head up a "History Channel" production that took 8 or 9 weeks to show on the History Channel the footage of re-discovering the path that has Scaturro playing the role of Henry Stanley retracing his pathway across Eastern Africa in search of the Dr. David Livingstone. This expedition travels the original pathway across Eastern Africa in search of the same path. He has climbed Mt. Everest where he led a team where one member was blind (Erik Weihenmayer) along with 19 of the original 21. This climbing team included PV's son, Adam Scaturro who is confined to a wheelchair.

PASQUALE SCATURRO, EXPLORER, ADVENTURER AND GEOPHYSICIST, is one of the foremost expedition leaders in the world. Exploring the far reaches of the planet for over 25 years, Pasquale has participated in and led mountaineering expeditions on Aconcagua, K2, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Gasherbrum II, the North Face of the Eiger, and three expeditions on Mt. Everest. He conceived, organized, and led the National Federation of the Blind 2001 Everest Expedition, in which blind climber Erik Weihenmayer reached the summit. An award-winning documentary, Farther than the Eye Can See, captured this punishing feat on film, and Time Magazine called it one of the most successful Mt. Everest expeditions in history.

        Expeditions

He has led multiple descents of world-class rivers including the Omo, Bio Bio, Zambezi, Tatshenshini, and Alsek. In 2004 he organized and led history’s first-ever, complete descent of the entire Blue Nile and Nile River, from its source in the highlands of Ethiopia to its terminus in the Mediterranean Sea, a distance of 3,260 miles. This record-breaking expedition was featured in the award-winning IMAX film and book titled Mystery of the Nile.

        Geophysics

Pasquale has over 30 years domestic and international oil and gas exploration experience in the most remote, dangerous, politically volatile and technically challenging places on the planet. This includes projects across Africa, Russia, the Middle East, Asia, and South America. His most recent ventures have taken him to Turkey, Israel, Siberia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Somalia and Pakistan. Pasquale’s leadership, logistical expertise, hard work and enormous commitment have enabled him to straddle the realms of outdoor exploration and corporate America unlike any other expedition leader on earth.

        Media Appearances

Frequent media appearances include film, television, popular magazines, books and lectures. He has appeared on the Today Show, NBC Nightly News, ESPN, Turner Television, the History Channel, National Public Radio, MacGillivray Freeman Films and IMAX Theaters worldwide, A&E, MSNBC and MSN and has been featured in Time Magazine, Outside Magazine, National Geographic Adventure, Playboy Magazine, the LA Times and many more. In 2009, Pasquale was featured in the 8-part History Channel TV series Expedition Africa: Stanley and Livingston in which a team of four explorers crossed Africa from Zanzibar to Lake Tanganyika retracing Henry Morton Stanley’s epic 1871 expedition to find Dr David Livingston.

Nothing escapes my attention here that has to do with HDY and its former executives. "fertilizer.smith" there is so much more but you can check it out,....just thread for download here...you are correct in your observation....there is more that may be explained later...not time for it here now.
