QID may get back to 51 but don't count on it

What planet are you living on... in my short 60 years of taking up space on this one I've never seen the economic picture any more ominous than what we are now facing. This market is only in the beginning stage of what is going to be a deep and protracted fall to much much lower levels. Our country is bankrupt and we just keep printing more funny money and spending like a herd of drunken sailors... if I ran my business like they are running my country I'd have been on the streets long ago.

    • Viking, I couldn't agree with you more. I just turned 60 and have never seen anything like this with only one difference---the spin.

These guys are desperate and treacherous and will do and say whatever is necessary to keep it all from turning to crap. Be hedged is all I can say just in case they keep pulling rabbits out of the hat.

    • my sentiments exactly,it never fails to amaze me that anyone could be bullish in this economic climate. When you think about the moves and the rhetoric coming out of the fed, the only thing that is changing is market psychology. They're trying to keep the rubes from finding out what is really going on.
