This must be the understatement of the year. I remember participating in discussions about a natural gas pipeline through Alaska in 1975. No progress in 38 years.
There are 6 LNG projects planned for Kitimat, BC. Not all will be built, but 2 or 3 will (along with Crude Oil Shipping) China and the far East will feast off Canadian Oil and Gas since we don't like pipelines anymore (we loved them in WW2 and a few cecades after.)
