Ok since you're discussing this with me, unlimited, let's just start right here! I want to get some feed back just to see if I'm in left field with this one. The company makes industrial diamonds. Ticker SCIO. I spoke with the CEO, the prospects are amazing. They have a facility and are starting up their "reactors" this week.
Although I do not have any experience investing in the diamond business, I took a small look. There is not much information to be found on its website. Not even a link to the most recent Financial Statements. I don't like that. From what I found via Yahoo Finance, is that they have 23 million shares outstanding. The market cap., based on today's price of $ 3.20, is 75 million. Take a look at their assets, and you will see that the latest quarter shows 3.8 million in assets. This should ring a bell.
Another thing I do not like is the very low trading volume of only 3k shares on daily average. The bid is $ 2.25 and the ask is $ 3.20, making it very hard to get in, but even harder to get out, if you would like to. You shouldn't worry however about the creation of a message board for Scio, as they have one http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/mb/SCIO.OB
