Here's a post from someone that seems to have some common sense. [Common sense].
I knew McCain would pick a woman to position himself against Obama / Biden. This however I feel was a fatal mistake that will certainly cost him the election. When people who choose a president go to the polls, if they really think about the issues at hand, need to also take into account that the VP needs to be able to step up into office and run the country. With McCain being as old as he is, it is quite possible that Palin could be called to serve as President. The same could be said of Biden if something were to happen to Obama. So when you look at that alone Biden against Palin? I don't even see a real contest there.
Biden is going to make her look like a high school kid when the VP
debates come up. I don't see how she will be prepared to answer some of the tough questions on foreign policy.
I'll have to say that McCain's judgment by
choosing a fairly unknown woman to take the VP spot will probably
anger more Hillary voters than sway them. They are not lemmings who
follow her just because she is a woman, they follow her because of
her experience, and her proven strong willed personality who can
bare the brunt of attacks. Palin is "Pale In" comparison to Hillary
Look at Rick's post above that starts "Can I ask you a question?' Then look at this link.
He copied and pasted it word for word and didn't give the original idiot credit. Hey. isn't what Joe Biden did a few years ago? Must be a Demorat thing. Sheesh! He can't even state his own ideas. No wonder he resorts to LOL all of the time.
LOL. nate you are right on, boy. Technical, accurate and diligently observant. bush would be proud of you if you were to join his homeland security force. On your spare time flip through the archives and dig up a few others. I'm flattered by your interest in my postings, even though I didn't take the excessive time to type most. In the future I'll be sure to put quotation marks around statements I copy and paste, I promise. To be precise, it's called quoting. Here's an example..."oh thou, meek lovers of good, turn thy back on heaven and seek me".... Emerson. If I'm not mistaken, I have put quotation marks on a couple postings. In your spare time do some research, I'm sure you'll find a few. LOL, no really, honestly. LOL. Keep up the good work private goober. When I get the time I'll post a few more articles I come across. I luv this copy and paste thingy. Ahhhh, technology. Hey, I caught nate picking his nose. Shucks, I just can't get the hang of that tattle-tale stuff. Oh well. I'll sign off with another LOL. You surely deserve one. Keep an eye on me. What a simple dufus........LOL Hey nate, do a spell check for me. LOL Sorry for all the LOL's, but I get a chuckle outa clowns like you. I'll bet you voted for bush, right? And proud of it. LOL
Does not make sense but quelled some thunder from Obama and Biden. This may be totally fabricated to make noise and stop momentum. They'll find something on her and she'll graciously thank McCain and resign. McCain can then choose his real choice and steal more thunder.
The Democratic Party is going to be crying after November but the American people will be better off with McCain and his VP in office. Good riddens to Bush and his administration. Some things he did well but others were not good. Let's get spending under control and grow America.
I'm a child of the depression and a WWII and Korean veteran. Everything bad that happened to me during my 82 yearswas caused by Republican policy. Anybody who works for a living cuts their own throat voting Republican. I would vote for a Chinese laundry ticket before I would vote for any cold arrogant Cheney-Bush protege.McCains pick clearly demonstrates the partys disdain for the people.
I couldn't agree with you more -- I'm a korean war & viet-nam war vet -- & feel the last 8 years of the bush administration were a complete disgrace & disaster. I can only hope the American people will finally get it right when they vote in the up-coming national election.
Sign me -- as a 78 year old patriot, who loves our country and has proudly served but now -- i'm embarrased & ashamed at what the bush team has done to our country. We must have a change in direction & throw the bums in D.C out! I'm a registered 'Independent' & my family are all going to vote a stright ticket for the Democrats. We need new -- intelligent inspired leadership -- hopefully & perhaps the Obama team will win and bring back pride & stability to our once great nation. Anything is better than what we have had these last 8 years.

McCain will win this elction, and you heard it here first. Hey, I predicted GH Bush victory in 1988, and people laughed. In the words of Joe Namath: "I guarantee it". TGC longs rule, but may as well play the highs and lows, too, as it will eventually become less volatile.
Its funny that you use the experience issue to compare VP selections but not the presidential candidates themselves.she has more leadership experience than OBAMA but his experience is not an issue. Give me a break
The more you read about her the better it gets. Shes an independant thinker. Obama/Biden cant play the inexperience card since Obama is a green horn himself. She at least has a track record of success.
Voter will love her story. Her life story is the definition of change. I would not have believed it, but McCain just stole the election with this one decision.
Just my opinion.
Is this really who the Republican Party wants to be one heartbeat away from the Presidency? Given Sarah Palin's lack of experience on every front and on nearly every issue, this Vice Presidential pick doesn't show judgment: it shows political panic."
They already disagree on one thing, she's all for drilling in Alaska, and gramps opposes it. Oh, Palin who?
